Collection: Hammer Toes

A hammer toe is a condition of the second, third or fourth toes. In this condition, the toe is bent at the middle joint so that it resembles the shape of a hammer. When you have a hammer toe, you need more space at the upper part of the toe box of a shoe to accommodate the bending of the toe in this shape.

YOUR BEST FITS

dr LIZA Booties feature our roomiest toe box. Even if there is a little pressure at first, after only a few wears the leather will mold to your toe’s shape for custom accommodation.

All dr LIZA Sneakers have a generous toe box.

All dr LIZA Sandals have an upper that easily adapts to the contours of your foot.

dr LIZA Loafers and Loafer pumps have a square box, which ensures your toes won’t be squished together while wearing them.

HELPFUL TIP: A shoe stretcher is an invaluable tool to have when you wear leather shoes! If you notice any rubbing when you are wearing leather shoes, you can stretch them out a little where needed for a perfect fit.
